Big, Loud, & Live! 5

Celebrating the fifth anniversary of bringing the world’s most elite and exclusive marching music ensembles to the big screen, the 2008 DCI World Championship Quarterfinals will be seen on Thursday, Aug. 7 at 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT in more than 340 movie theaters – nearly triple the number of venues from last year!

Precision marching, resounding percussion and the ability to rock the stadium are once again featured in the Drum Corps International World Championship Quarterfinals as part of the exclusive, annual in-theater event Big, Loud & Live 5!

Big, Loud & Live 5 will feature the top 15 World Class drum corps performing in their entirety in addition to highlight clips of the first five corps that performed earlier in the day preceding the simulcast.

Saturday, Zachary and I had a great day together! We ran some errands and tooled around Toledo & Sylvania. I was very proud of him for being such a good listener! One of the things we did was go to Betsy’s new diggs. Here’s a picture of Zachary at her pool:

After that, we had a VERY nice dinner! And then Betsy gave me the sweetest couch EVER:

I love it! Zachary calls it the “invisible couch” because I put a blanket over it so it wouldn’t mess it up. He (Harry Potter) was soon asleep:

Birthday Thank-yous!!!

Thank you everybody for making this birthday one of the best in my life! I had tons of fun at dinner, the after party, playing pool, and the other dinner! I love you all

My Birthday…

As you all should know, my birthday is this Sunday (June 22).  I’ve decided to plan my own party.  If you’re cool, you’ll go to Mancy’s Italian (on Monroe Street) on Friday at 6:00 and have dinner with me.  If you’re even cooler, you’ll go to Beth’s house after dinner for the “after party” and have some drinks!  See you all there!  If you’re on Facebook – and I didn’t invite you – let me know…

Ben Folds in concert

Last night I saw Ben Folds at Adrian College!!!  They didn’t allow any cameras in so I have no pictures to post

BUT, it was totally awesome!!!

His new CD drops sometime in September and I WANT IT!
